The Power of Confession & the Freedom of Forgiveness
Wherever you are on the curve, I would like to invite you today to rediscover the power of confession and freedom of forgiveness. If you are an unbeliever, would you confess your sins and be born again? If you are a believer struggling against your own nature, would you confess your need, submit to the Lordship of Christ, and be filled with the Spirit? If you are saved and sanctified but wrestling with broken relationships or the temptations to sin, would you confess your sins to God and man and discover forgiveness? And, if you are harboring unforgiveness toward anyone today, would you confess it and relinquish it – let it go – so that you may once again know the freedom and power of forgiveness in your heart and life? Would you once again walk in the way of peace? Rediscover the power of confession and freedom of forgiveness.

ADVENT 2016 - Peace
Listen as Pastor Rick Concludes the Advent Series with this sermon about Peace.
"Are you at peace today? I don’t mean some artificial imaginary calm or temporary stillness. I don’t mean some meditative state of tranquility. I mean is your heart at peace today? Is there anything separating you from God right now? Is there anything separating you from your spouse? Is there anything separating you from your children? Is there anything separating you from a fellow-believer? Is there anything or anyone standing in between you and the Christ child – the Prince of Peace?"

HE KNOWS
God knows you: precisely whom you are, where you are, what you are, why you are, and how you are. He understands you and cares about you. Listen as Pastor Rick passionately shares the wonderful story of Thomas.
"Have you been where Thomas was that night? A whole lot of other people tell you they have met the risen Christ. A whole lot of people tell you that it was incredible and spectacular and you should have the same experience. Have you felt confused by all the voices? Have you felt that your experiential reality doesn’t match up with others’ reports of the supernatural? Have you grieved because YOU longed to know Him in the power of His resurrection too – but somehow have missed it? Have you been frustrated – maybe even angry – that you have been left out of His presence? Have you determined in the midst of your pain, your loneliness, and your lostness that you WILL NOT BELIEVE?
Ah. This
I believe is part of the why of Thomas’ story.
God knows us and understands us and He wants us to know that He knows
and He cares about us even when we struggle with doubt and uncertainty."

DROP THE ROCKS
God's perspective only gets implemented in our lives when we drop the rocks that drive us away from Him and from other people. Are there rocks in your hands?
