People of the Way the Truth & the Life

So I ask you today, are you in Him?  Is He in you?  Are you resting in Him completely without reservation?  Is He your way?  Are you walking in His footsteps in obedience to Him?   Is He your mode of transportation to Heaven?  Is He your truth?  Are you walking in truth?  Is your life anchored in truth?  Are you worshiping the Father in spirit and in truth?  Is the Spirit of Truth – the Comforter – dwelling in you?  Do you live in the truth without reservation or shame?  Do you possess eternal life?  Do you walk without fear in this life because you already walk in life eternal now and in the ages to come?  Do you rejoice in the hope and peace of the resurrection?  Do you look forward with a longing heart to the day when we look upon the face of Him Who saved us by His grace?  What a day THAT will be!!! 

The Call to Godly Fatherhood

Today is Father’s Day.  For some it is a day of joy; for others a day of sorrow.  Some remember their fathers with fondness, while others wish to forget.  Some never really knew the man who was their father and wish they did.  Others carry scars from fathers they wish they had never known.  Often how we perceive God is directly connected to the interaction we have with our father.  If our father was gentle and kind, we often perceive God to be so.  If our father was harsh and judgmental, we often perceive God to be so.  Whether this should or shouldn’t be this way, it is.  This brings me to the importance of what I share with you today: The Call to Godly Fatherhood.
